The big Bangkok Clean-up

Today hundreds of Bangkokians started the big clean-up of their city. The main sites of the red shirt protests including Silom and Siam Square/Rajprasong intersection got thoroughly cleaned by volunteers. A great photo set of this can be seen here:

Below you can see a photo of one of the youngest volunteers... And a picture of a bag of Rambutan at a corner of a gutted bank at Siam Square that somebody put down there for anybody to take who helped to clean up, great gesture:

Photos of red shirt leaders "on holiday" after arrest are real

A link was circulated today that was showing some of the red shirt leaders (including Nattawut) in a good mood and located in some kind of "holiday" bungalow somewhere at Naresuan Camp. @tulsathit has said that these photos were confirmed to be real and taken yesterday. I posted them below again in case the above link should take the pictures offline..seems to happen too often these days.

Looks kind of strange to many to see them like this shortly after the protests that ended with nearly 100 dead people but let's not forget that they were put there by the government. I doubt that they can choose where they want to stay.

Some crazy pictures from today's crackdown

Content of the following is very graphic so don't follow the link if you can't take this. There are some horrible things posted there. One can see that both side were 100% sure heavily armed and this was a real war situation. After this I don;t want to hear any more "unarmed protester fairy tales". Here is the whole set of pictures.
