Pla Dip was mentioned here before and there is many longer reviews available online but Pla Dip was and still is one of my favorites of all time in Bangkok so its time to mention it again. It is a bit off the beaten track on Soi Areesampan 7, not oo far from the Ari skyrain station (but more then walking distance).

Pla Dip is a place where the word "fusion" actually makes sense, as Japanese, Thai, and International influences are skillfully combined together. They even got a real stone oven to make some delicious Pizzas.

The atmosphere is stylish and relaxed. la Dip is also a great place to ust have a few drinks. A good selection of beers (including Hoegarden), wine, and cocktails are available. Prices are very decent. One of the most simple dishes offered is also one of the most delicious ones. So don't firget to sample the mashed potatoe that Pla Dip makes. Very delicious.
