YouTube.com faces a lawsuit from Thailand's Information and Communications Technology Ministry for not removing an offensive video clip of His Majesty the King. Minister Sitthichai Pookaiyaudom said Google, which owns YouTube, had agreed to requests from China to censor some clips, and could not see why the website could not do the same for Thailand.
"This YouTube issue is about a private firm in the US trying to bully a small country like Thailand," Mr Sitthichai said. YouTube.com remains banned in Thailand.
