The Thailand Creative and Design Centre (TCDC) is to merge with the National Discovery Museum Institute to become the Thailand Discovery & Creative Centre, following criticism of "extravagant spending" by the Office of Knowledge Management and Development (OKMD).
The Thailand Creative and Design Centre (TCDC) is to merge with the National Discovery Museum Institute to become the Thailand Discovery & Creative Centre, following criticism of "extravagant spending" by the Office of Knowledge Management and Development (OKMD). Newspapers recently reported that TCDC had been renting office space at Emporium Tower for THB 5 million per month and paying one of its directors THB 370,000 a month. The popular Design Centre will move in May when the OKMD signs a six-year lease for 2,000sqm of space at Chulalongkorn University's Jaturas Jamjuri Building near Siam Square.
