Poll shows corruption more acceptable
Thursday, 08 November 2007
More than half of respondents in a new Abac survey from Assumption University would be willing to turn a blind eye to corruption within Thailand's new government if it means their own livelihood will be improved.

82 percent said they wouldn’t think twice about committing a dishonest act if it meant missing out on an opportunity.

Meanwhile, about half of respondents said they would consider engaging in corrupt activity if they considered it "necessary".
