Online gambling crackdown

Thailand's Department of Special Investigation (DSI) is tracking down and closing Thai websites that offer online gambling.
Gambling online on soccer matches has become increasingly popular among Thai teenagers, according to the department. A DSI spokesman said there are more than 10,000 subscribers in Thailand, and many of them live in Chiang Mai, Songkhla and Bangkok.
