Monday street food may return

Monday's total ban on street vending may be subsitituted for another weekday, after a rethink on the matter by City Hall.
A Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) spokesman made the statement in response to a complaint by Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej made in his radio show:
''Why do they have to be banned from selling on Monday? "'Don't working people eat on Monday? Why not Sunday?" Mr Samak said.
