Military clothing ban

Tuesday, 01 April 2008
Wearing military-inspired camouflage clothing is dangerous, and people must not appear dressed as soldiers, warns Thailand's Defence Council.

Under the kingdom's Military Uniforms Act of 1934, dressing as a soldier deserves a jail term of between three months and five years.

The fashion crackdown comes after it was observed that Southern militants wear military camouflage uniforms when planting bombs.

Thailand a free and democratic country...

...another proof. They tell us when we have to stop dancing, when we have to go to sleep, what we see on the Internet and in TV, that we have to love certain people and what we have to wear. I love free and democratic countries.
