Cell phone driving ban

Motorists on Thailand's roads that use their cell phone while driving face a fine of THB 400 - 1,000 from May 8 onwards.

Checkpoints will be set-up to arrest drivers, and digital cameras installed to record offences, warn the Metropolitan police.
