Nadimos: A great Lebanese Restaurant in Silom Village
Nadimos is my new favorite Lebanese restaurant in Bangkok. For this type of food I would have normally went to the Arab soi close to Nana (which still offers excellent Lebanese, Egyptian and other food of this type.
But Nadimos is even a step upĀ think. Nadimos is located in Silom Village which is on lower Silom Road (quite close to State Tower). Silom Village also has a few other great food choices and also, Niu's, the Jazz Bar is located here. One thins where Nadimos differs is the interior. Very well thought out, comfy, new and clean. They had som great interior designer come here. It is more like a rel restaurant, more sophisticated than the places close to Nana on Soi 3. Great thing is that that does not convert to higher prices. There is still simple dishes available as rolled Kebaps or salads that cost just about 100 Baht or even below that. The Falafel we ordered is the best I have had so far in Bangkok. A standard green salad we ordered was huuuuge and prepared in a big bowl with fresh looking salad. The Humus combination platter I also sampled was also delicious. I really do not have anything to cmplpain about Nadimos. The biggest problem will probably be that most people expect a place like this on Sukhumvit Road and even on Silom, Nadimos is located a bit out of the popular areas on the lower end of Silom (although we went on a Friday at lunch time and it was well visited) but if you live in the area or are close by do not forget to check the place out.
