The Chic Consortium if a fashion forum for thoughts on trends, current movements in design and the pleasure of creative work in Thailand. Every issue we will bring you the interests and motivations of trend experts who have seen beyond the curve and lived to tell the tale. Anke Lokietz-Crispin has come to Bangkok to work on her 2006 collection. She is a fashion designer who has sold her collections since the mid 80s in glam-o shops like Barney’s NY and Fred Segal’s LA. She has dressed fab-o clients as grand as Madonna. These are the ideas she is working with for her Spring 2006 launch at Bread & Butter Berlin.

- • Clean, crisp natural fibers: linen, cotton, poplin
- • Washed colors: indigo, light green, soft coral, blue-collar blue
- • Beading, I’m all over that!
