 Is this my reality? Is this a fantasy? The words linger in my ears as my eyes overflow with decadence. Upon arrival at the boutique tucked in the middle of bustling Sukhumvit Soi 24 one is struck by the jet black exterior and window displays of mannequins donning smoldering combinations of lingerie. Inside, brocade patterns adorn walls, neatly laid out displays of lingerie line the walls and I encounter a whole new way to approach the morning. The Ladies of marlies|dekkers have invited me here for an introduction to a world not often seen in Bangkok. I've encountered a realm of tastefully structured and sensual design, frivolity and brazenness - celebration of life itself.
The creamiest of pastries accompanied by voluptuous chocolate dipped strawberries are piled atop my plate and my cup bubbles with piping hot coffee. This is my admittance to the world of marlies|dekkers, one of the most original and inventive lingerie brands available today. An icon of dualism and sensuality in Holland and throughout Europe, marlies|dekkers has arrived in Bangkok to igniting the fires of personal inspiration within the masses. Available for consumption at the boutique are a wide array of styles highlighting just a few of the her collections; 'Undressed' - lingerie for women and men, 'Sundressed' - swimwear and 'Nightdressed' - loungewear for women.

She takes the time to presents us with an overview of the design elements and creative inspiration for the marlies|dekkers collections. Effortlessly, detailing all of the highlights that make the brand quite unique and special. marlies|dekkers designs a variation of bra types that offer a range of coverage and support, utilize an exemplary range of colors, graphics and hidden structure secrets. One of my favorites graphics from range is a collection of pieces bases on a "secret" traditional Japanese rope knotting technique that are discretely screened tone on tone onto the fabric. Straps and lines are a recurring theme for both the Undresses and Nightdressed collections... Viewers are given a peak into the wearer's hidden world with a tantalizing straps and interlocking chains draw the eye to the cleavage, nape of the neck or curve of the hip. Ladies of a more robust sizing will be ecstatic to know marlies|dekkers has designs especially with these ladies in mind. Lingerie is presented in sizes from A to D cup and to add butter cream icing to your fluffy cake, a 'Special Sizes"collection with exclusive designs is also available for D to F cup.
 After we are presented this information you can imagine we are delighted to know there will be something for everyone to enjoy at home, on the beach or at our next rendezvous. No guilt is felt for the decadent pastries consumed and with the taste of whipped cream and chocolate on our lips.
