Bangkok's abandoned lots and buildings act as the perfect canvas for the creative-minded. In a race against promotional posters for Michael Bolton's eagerly anticipated World Tour, BangkokRecorder hit the streets in search of endangered street art to preserve and share with you. In Bang Na, we were shocked to discover that a mysterious fan had re-appropriated this image from the cover of our first, and sadly now deceased, print magazine. Our surprise turned to tearful triumph as we saw the stencil for what it truly was: our guardian angel in his fighting stance, ready to take on the full might of the Michael Bolton poster campaign. You may recognise these colourful gems from the abandoned building next to Nana BTS. A safe distance from the poster Nazis patrolling below, for now they were immune to Michael Bolton's curse. In RCA, we found this introspective portrait, and in an abandoned building on Wireless Road, we chanced upon this beautiful military burlesque pin-up. It pains us to tell you that she is now buried behind dozens of Michael Bolton posters.

We chanced upon some cool sticker art down a Siam Square back-alley, as well as... ...two affectionate ghetto Bang Na bunny rabbits. In one Siam street, the ghosts of Notorious B.I.G. and Colonel Sanders seemed to offer a warning to Michael Bolton from the Great Beyond.
This childish portrayal of Michael Bolton masturbating made us laugh, until we returned the next day to find this abomination in its place... Terrorism is wrong. Help street art to win the fight against Michael Bolton. Now. Send your pics to
