It's malls versus markets. Where do you buy most of your clothes from, and what's your favourite boutique in either category? NEVER NEVER NEVER MALLS!! Down with malls (apart from MBK if you call that a mall)!! For clothes I always shop at 2nd hand stores in Chatuchak. I buy all my baubles and bangles from Mam at Chatuchak (section 3, soi 2) or at Big C (opposite Central World). And if the clothes suited me better, I'd definitely shop at Siam Square. Whenever possible, support your local independent vendors.

I'm the queen of shopping for 199 THB clothes and proud of it. Everything from my head to my toes - sunglasses, tops, jeans, skirts, high-heels, bags - is are basically the 199 THB stuff they sell on the street everywhere. I don't buy brand names or expensive clothes and have never owned one. I guess I'm not stupid enough to pay 30,000 THB for a bag. My favorite boutique in Thailand is Soda. It has its own unique style. Although for the past few years Soda has been a bit boring and can't seem to excite me with their designs as they used to be able to long time ago.

I'm big into freebies so most of the t-shirts I wear were given to me by mates - so the people I'm endorsing at the mo are:Preduce Skateboards, Mint Bar Samui and my brother's company Puzle!
