Let's face it, in terms of contemporary art and culture, Bangkok is not exactly on a par with, say, Paris or Rome. Sure, Krung Thep has its fair share of graffiti artists and indie bands, but in 2007, that's about as contemporary as a calculator wristwatch.

Sin City is a sinfully delicious film manifestation of Frank Miller’s comic series: Sin City, That Yellow Bastard, and The Big Fat Kill. The two directors - Robert Rodriguez (From Dusk Till Dawn, Desperado) and Quentin Tarantino (Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2) alone can give you a rough idea about what to expect from this film. It may be a comic book adaption but it is definitely not for kids.
