 As soon as you step into Spirit of Spa, the ubiquitous spa soundtrack blocks out the city noise as your feet slide into the cushioned slippers provided. It’s not until you go past the reception into the dark and tranquil Thai-style interior that you truly feel away from the bustle of soi Lang Suan. As the first spa to introduce hot stones massage to Thailand, Spirit of Spa still imports the stones from Hawaii. This massage is a signature of the spa and the Thai massage is also excellent. It’s not cheap but it beats lying on a dingy mattress in a room full of sweaty backpackers on Khao san any day.
