Boasting itself as the “new home of indulgence in Bangkok”, Syn Bar could very well live up to its claims…if so many other hi-so bars in Bangkok didn’t have similar aspirations. Grey hues coupled with suspended pod-like seats in wrap-around windows, this cocktail lounge designed by Calvin Teo is undoubtedly stylish and of course pricey. Swedish mixologist Ben Sorum heads the bar team to come up with some unusual Asian-inspired concoctions like Tamarind Passion, Mangosteen Martini, and Wasabi Mary. Djs play every night from 9pm, a mixture of house, funky house and “jazzy hip hop house”, and for something different soul house!
