In the middle of the Asian metropolis with more buildings than sand in the Sahara find an African Oasis with the spirit of Casablanca.

Gazebo - the hip lounge place with its unique Moroccan style will be the location of the upcoming 7th Theme Club. Lounge outside in large cushions and smoke the shisha like the Nomads have been doing for centuries and enjoy a state-of-the-art club inside with a real dance floor and a lounge area which is absolutely unique in Bangkok to sit down as well.

Music wise DJ´s Florian & Stefanie will rock the house with latest electro house like the Bedouins after they have found water - be prepared.

Enjoy the tasty dinner at Gazebo! We'll have a special "Casablanca Tappas" Menu which will truly be a treat and the right way to start the evening starting from around 8pm.

In the roofed outside lounge (smoking allowed!!) there will be the Bangkok All Stars Band playing and inside in the club the DJ's later in the evening.

Dress code: Sexy Desert Style or Bedouin White

Parking: 100 meters down Soi 1 right side or Nana square.

Throughout the week, my friend and his girlfriend had several converations with other travelers that they noticed looked like they had been in a fight recently and it was the same story. These men had been targeted for a beating and robbery by security in Gazebo because they looked happy. Not because they looked rich or because they were causing problems, but because they were genuinely in the moment and having a great time. I have lived in Thailand for over two years now and while it's common knowledge that corruption on all levels runs rampant, this has to be the most disgusting display of human behaviour I have ever witnessed. This isn't an urban myth, but something terrible that happened to someone that I care very much about. I ask that you please boycott Gazebo and help me put them out of business. Thailand is a beautiful and peaceful place and my friend is a beautiful and peaceful person. This sort of behaviour has no place in this world. Thank you for listening.

Dear Travel Community,

I have just returned to my home in Chiang Mai from Bangkok less than 20 minutes ago. My first priority: write this review. A good and caring friend of mine was visiting Bangkok last week staying on Khao San Road with his girlfriend. I ran into her during lunch today and when I asked where her boyfriend was, this is what she said. She told me that last week when her boyfriend went to Gazebo late at night with some friends, he was suddenly taken into a back room by three security men. They re-played for him a tape of him dancing and having a good time and repeatedly asked him if this was him. He said it was and then they begin to hassle him, demanding to know why he was so happy.
