360 people died and 4,794 were injured in 4,242 road accidents in the seven-day period of Thailand's Songkran celebrations.
The Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department said the death toll this year was one less than the previous year, while the number of injured people this year is 11 less than in 2007.
