Friday, 12 October 2007
Analysis of data recorders, witness reports and other evidence have led officials to believe that a wind shear was the cause of the Phuket plane crash that left 90 people dead and more than 40 injured.
Transport permanent secretary Chaisawat Kittipornpaiboon, said sudden strong winds caused the plane to crash land and that a press conference would be held this afternoon to explain cause in more detail.
