Drug raids continue in Bangkok
Sunday, 27 May 2007
Party people frequenting Royal City Avenue, Ratchadipisek and Patpong beware, the Metropolitan police and the Bangkok Metrolpoitcan Administration are cracking down on narcotics in these three entertainment districts.

So far, popular spots like Nanglen and Zantika have been raided, but authorities come away empty-handed. Fifty officers from Suttisan police station were also sent to search customers at Baan Mai Sadsaeng Deon bar but found nothing.

The Metropolitan police and the BMA launched their drug suppression campaign on April 28 and have since charged 19 people for narcotics use.
