 ZoukOut is a party. A big party. I would say a big beach party outside event with over 15.000 people that rocks 12 hours through the night once a year on Sentosa Island/Singapore.
But ZoukOut 2007 is much more. It´s a part of lifestyle – and a yearly must! Like for announcements of new Apple gear I´m waiting until finally the date and the line-up are announced on their homepage.
ZoukOut is the outdoor event of the Zouk Club Singapore. This year it´s on Saturday 8th December. They always have a mix of super-famous DJ´s and not-so-well-known acts plus local talents. 2 years ago Sven Väth was the main act. Last year it was Ferry Corsten und this year it´s the uber Space/Ibiza DJ Carl Cox. When Carl played in Astra here in Bangkok it was absolute mayhem with every single person jumping on the dancefloor... it was just amazing. 
Also in the line-up is the mighty Armin van Buuren who was also playing in 2005 and who has just been elected as DJ Mag Top Nr. 1 DJ of the world. Congratulations! He is not only loved for his trance sets in clubs but Armin also hosts the well acclaimed "A state of trance" radio show.
Then there is Uffie performing who has been discussed in the forum already and many more acts like some Electro DJ´s from Germany.
From the Hip-Hop side it´s DJ Craze who has also played and scratched in Bangkok before - which was a blast.
As a Singapore local talent personally I very much like the sounds from Tony Tay. He is the one behind the "SIRENS" parties at Zouk and in my eyes a brilliant DJ.
Debuting last year, ZoukOut 2007 also features rock bands again. So who isn´t into dance music can do some headbanging.
For all of you who need to cool down after dancing, for the first time there will be a 50m high waterslide on the beach. Sounds like fun, too!
