Tiësto live in Bangkok this April - twice!

Counting global popularity of DJ´s, Tiësto is one of the very top ones. He is so hugely popular, that he won the DJ Mag World´s Top No. 1 for 3 times already. Word has it that he played to close to 2 million people only in the past year.

So we have one of the top DJ´s in town... but what to expect?

Born as Tijs Verwest 1969 in the Netherlands, Tiësto started his passion to DJ at school parties and got resident at clubs around 1985. Since then he has played all over the world including the 2004 Summer Olympic Opening, many Festivals and Clubs. That means 23 years of professional DJ´ing till present.

His music style in general can be put in the trance/progressive trance genre supported by a number of music productions he has released over the years. Tiësto has played in Bankok before and boosted popularity.

The first event he will play at in Bangkok will be a private VIP party at The River on the 17th (invitation only) followed by the public party at 808 Club (RCA) on the 18th April (presale 1.200 Baht incl. 1 drink).

Especially the latter will attract a lot of clubbers - it´s advised to come early.

I was considering the devastation of the Burmese people and have a lot of respect for them as well as the Army placed there for what ever reason that we may not privileged to. Perhaps blogs and other suprroting groups within the Country of Thailand would be able to assist to this emergency and end the dilemma quickly and efficiently.
Thanks for your time

He's already been here twice in the last couple of years. Didn't realize trance was so popular here.

Was hoping for outdoor event

Awesome that he's finally coming here, but I was kinda hoping for a huge outdoor event on the riverside with about half a million people and majestic laser show like he's done before in Rotterdam.
